New The Modern Operations Path™: five steps, enter where you are
Work with me The Read

Find out what your website actually says about your business.

Not what you meant it to say. What it says. A recorded walkthrough of your site through two lenses: how well it carries the way your business actually operates, and what AI engines can read, quote, and get right about you when someone asks.

Get your Read $450 launch price. Five business days. No meetings required.

Your website describes a company that no longer exists.

You've evolved. Your offers sharpened, your process matured, your best clients changed. Your website is still telling the 2022 version of the story.

That used to cost you slowly. Now it costs you twice. Prospects land on the site and bounce off stale language — or they never land at all. They ask an AI, and it answers from your outdated pages, or guesses.

Right now, machines are answering questions about your business. The Read shows you exactly what they're working with.

What you get

A findings memo you can act on the same day

Every issue ranked by effort against impact, three fixes you can make this week without me, and a conservative estimate of what the gaps cost you. Written to work whether or not we ever talk again.

Your AI visibility, on screen

I ask the major AI engines the questions your prospects ask. You watch what comes back. It's the part your partners will want to see.

What I'm looking for

Most site audits check conversion mechanics. Button placement, headline formulas, page speed. Useful, narrow, and not what this is.

The Read looks at three things:

  • Does the site carry your operating logic? How you actually work, who you actually serve, what actually makes you different. Most sites carry a summary written years ago by someone who no longer works there.
  • Can machines read it? Structure, not just content. Whether your pages let search and AI engines extract, understand, and quote the real story. Most don't, and it's invisible until you look.
  • Does the story hold together? One business, one message, across every page. Or five eras of the company layered on top of each other.

How it works

Step 1

Order and answer five questions

Your URL, who you serve, what you sell, what's changed recently, what prompted this. Ten minutes — the only time I'll ask for.

Step 2

I do the work

Your site, your structured data, your AI and search footprint, your closest competitors' footprint for contrast.

Step 3

You get the Read

Video and memo in your inbox within 5 business days. Watch on your own time; share with whoever needs it.

Optional: a 20-minute debrief. A booking link comes in the delivery email, good for two weeks, included in the price. Most people won't need it.

Who this is for

Founder-led businesses doing roughly $1M to $10M, where the real story of the company lives in the founder's head and the website hasn't caught up. Services firms, consultancies, credentialing and standards organizations, specialized B2B.

Who it's not for: pre-revenue startups, sites still under construction, and businesses where the website genuinely doesn't matter to how you win work. If I look at your situation and conclude the Read won't be worth $450 to you, I'll refund you and tell you why.

The guarantee

If the Read doesn't show you something material about your business that you didn't already know, I'll refund the full $450. No form, no friction. Reply to the delivery email and say so.

Where this goes, if you want it to

The Read stands alone. Take the memo, fix things yourself, done. The memo is written for exactly that.

If you want to go further, the next step is the Operating Map: three working sessions where we extract how your business actually runs and put it on paper, including the structure your website should have carried all along. Book the Map within 30 days of your Read and the full $450 applies to it.

So the Read is either a $450 diagnostic you act on yourself, or a free look at how I work before a bigger engagement.

Questions

  • Is this automated? The research is tool-assisted. The judgment isn't. Every Read is me looking at your specific business and recording my honest take. For the free automated version, run the Site Readiness Scan — the two-minute machine take.
  • Will you just tell me to hire you? No. The memo is written to be actionable without me. If you come back for more, it should be because the Read was useful, not because it was a trailer.
  • What if my site is on Squarespace / WordPress / Webflow / something custom? Doesn't matter. I'm reading what's rendered and what machines see, not grading your platform.
  • Why is there no call before I buy? You don't need one to get the value, and I don't need one to deliver it. Five questions and your URL tell me more than a discovery call would. If you want to talk after, the debrief is there.
  • Who's doing the Read? Me. I'm a fractional COO who has spent years inside founder-led businesses fixing the gap between how they operate and how they present. I run this practice on the thesis I'll be judging your site against: the website should be the operating surface of the business, not a brochure for it.

Machines are already reading your site. Find out what they see.
